I'm a communication designer that tells stories through hand-lettering, expressive typography, and illustration.
My work aims to tell personal narratives in the same fullness of emotion that I experience. Often exploring themes from my family, memories and community, my work uses an organic, bold and expressive style to complement the nature of human storytelling. I am currently completing my BDes in Communication Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and primarily interested in print design, but love to seek out new experiences of how design can intersect with various mediums and fields. Recently, I have been exploring how printmaking techniques such as linocut, lithography and screenprinting can work together with typography/lettering design, to add more depth to my storytelling.
