Be/longing brings together four artists who examine the complex and shifting idea of home with the desire to belong. It asks questions of what it means to long for familiarity in a world where home is not always a fixed place, but a constellation of memories and movements across time and space.
Together, the exhibition articulates the in-between: the space where belonging and longing meet. Whether through the enormity of the universe, the intimacy of domestic spaces, the fragility of memory, or the politics of movement, Be/longing offers a meditation on our collective and individual quests for home. It is an exploration of what it means to be at once rooted and uprooted, to belong while still longing, and to continually chase the comfort of a place that is both real and imagined.
