This piece depicts that inner language and messy chaos within a gut. I chose to use intestines because the stomach/gut is where I resonate to be the innermost being—its where I make decisions or have strong feelings. The organic form allowed me to spell out the words “this is me”, a message of owning what is deep down inside you. Even if it is messy/chaotic like the ink washes and even if the words are illegible to others, it's a personal piece to me, just as each person's art is to them.
