p'tato and friends' is a world of whimsical illustrations of different variations and forms of my inner child— finding space for playfulness, joyfulness through being mindless sometimes to pull away from difficult times. I love the outcome of this piece but I loved the process of making it even more—from conceptualizing it to the layer separations, to solo late-night printing in the studio, it was truly such a heartwarming and joyful experience to see all these characters come to life.
